1. How different is PNA-UK from other nursing organizations?
PNA-UK , is driven by the unique needs and issues of its actual and potential members as well as the recipients of its services. PNA-UK is the only accredited, recognized and approved professional nursing organization of professional nurses in the UK .
2. There are so many nursing organizations out there already, can't you just merge or be part of these long-established ones?
PNA-UK seeks to work together with the nursing groups to promote the interests of nursing and the public. In essence, PNA-UK is committed to professional networking cognizant of the fact that the attainment of its mission/vision is optimized by its continuing collaboration and at times, affiliation with other nursing organizations. However, this does not preclude the formation of PNA-UK with its unique role in the professional and personal growth and advancement of its members, the Filipino nurse.
PNA-UK aims to unite all the nursing organizations currently existing today by setting standards and collaborating together efforts and resources.
3. What is PNA-UK ’s purpose?

6. What is the level of commitment you expect from your members? I do not want to be a member because I cannot attend all the meetings or participate in its activities. I am too busy with my life already. I do not want to be half-committed so I will not join until I am ready for the commitment.
Just like any organization with a mission, PNA UK expects its members to contribute to the fulfillment of its mission. However, we do understand that the personal life of each member is unique and therefore the level of commitment varies. PNA UK does not condone commitment to the organization that is detrimental to one's personal and family life. Yet, sacrifice is called for intermittently so that others can benefit and not just self. Our nation and our world need people who can share their God-given talents not just for themselves but also for others so that the greater majority can benefit.
Nevertheless, every member is free to exercise the amount of commitment he is willing to give. Even a member who only pays dues promptly can still assist the organization by the financial assistance he provides. Besides, visibility is evidenced by numbers. There is strength in numbers. As the organization grows, there is a corresponding responsibility to take care of its members.
Your membership is valuable as PNA UK endeavors to meet the needs of the Filipino nurse as well as the promotion of health in the United Kingdom and the Philippines.
7. I am a member of another PNA Chapter, can I still be a member of PNA-UK?

10. Why is there an annual membership fee to join PNA UK?
As in any non-profit organization, PNA UK depends on the generosity and benevolence of its members and other supporting members of the community for it to operate a professional organization. Its leaders and members do not receive any financial compensation while giving their time and effort to achieve the group's mission/vision. It is therefore imperative that PNA UK requires a nominal membership fee to cover its operating expenses in exchange for invaluable and sincere service for free to advance its goals.
