1. MEMBERSHIP BENEFITS
LEADERSHIP
Active members are eligible to hold elective office and serve on the elected or appointed committees, to serve as delegates to any annual or special meeting.
PNA-UK SCHOLARSHIP GRANTS
Members are eligible for scholarships, awards, recognitions and other benefits as determined by the Executive Officers.
Members receive special discounts on educational programs that address issues on foreign nurses, studies and grants for Filipino Nurses among others.

REPRESENTATION OF NURSING PROFESSION
As a member of the Philippine Nurses Association of UK, along with the over 5,000 Filipino-English nurses in the United Kingdom , you are represented in professional nursing organization, government agencies, community groups and other coalitions.
We promote unity and represent the interests of Filipino nurses in the United Kingdom .
We strive to be the spokesmen for the Filipino nursing professionals in the United Kingdom . Moreover, we promote a positive and active image of the Filipino nurse and the association.
We organize and actively participate in community health programs relating to prevention of diseases as well as promotion and maintenance of health.
PROFESSIONAL NETWORKING
Joining the PNA-UK provides you with the opportunities for networking with experts in your own fields of specialty as you participate in our professional activities at the local, state, national and international levels.
Networking at district and regional levels and with other organizations and agencies in order for all members to develop and implement programs relevant to nursing practice, education and research.
PROFESSIONAL LEADERSHIP SERVICE
As a bonafide member of the PNA-UK , you will have the privilege of serving as a delegate, officer or committee member at the national level to vote on important issues, decisions and actions that affect the Filipino nurses and the Asian community at large.

2. MEMBERSHIP CATEGORIES
- Chapter Member - A professional nurse who is a member of a local PNA-UK chapter that holds membership in Philippine Nurses Association - UK , except military personnel who have the option of chapter or member-at-large status. The local PNA-UK chapter should be a member of good standing and should be accredited, recognized and approved as a local chapter by PNA-UK.
- Active Member (Fellow) - Any professional nurse of Philippine ethnic origin, who has been granted a license as a registered nurse in the United Kingdom and/or its territories who registers membership directly with the PNA-UK . A non-practicing nurse who are currently in the UK working as otherwise but is a Philippine Nurse duly registered with the PRC is also classified under this category unless membership is obtained through a local PNA-UK chapter.
- Lifetime Member (Chapter, Fellow or Associate) - Any member who has maintained active PNA-UK membership for a period of three consecutive years or more.
- Associate Member (Affiliate) - Members under this category are individuals who are not Philippine registered nurses but have signified their voluntary intention to be a member of PNA-UK upon acceptance of the association’s Vision, Mission and Objectives.
- Honorary Member - A person to whom honorary membership is conferred for distinguished service rendered or valuable assistance to the nursing profession and towards the achievement the objectives of this Association.
The PNA-UK shall not discriminate against any applicant or member on the basis of creed, age, sex, sexual orientation, religion or handicap.
PNA Lifetime members of other International PNA Chapters are encouraged to enlist with PNA-UK . Lifetime Membership with other International PNA Chapters will be recognized subject to membership check with original chapter and approval by PNA-UK .
3. MEMBERSHIP FEES/ DUES
Chapter Member -
£ 4.00 per year
Membership is only through an accredited, recognized and approved local PNA-UK chapter. Contact your local PNA-UK chapter.
Active Member (Fellow) -
£ 5.00 per year
Lifetime Member (Chapter, Fellow or Associate)
£ 15.00 for lifetime membership provided the member has maintained active PNA-UK membership for a period of three consecutive years or more.
Aspiring lifetime members can also pay the regular annual membership fees/ dues for the next three years in advance plus the lifetime membership dues/ fees to obtain lifetime membership. (£ 5.00 x 3 years plus £ 15.00 = £ 30.00)

£ 5.00 per year
