The Department of Tourism & PNA-UK presents...

SABAY TAYO, TARA NA!
MARCH 18, 2005

An agreement between the Department of Tourism (DOT) and the Philippine Nurses Association of UK was finalized in an official signing of documents held last November 10, 2004 at the WOW Philippines booth, World Travel Mart Convention, Excel Exhibition Center in London.

The agreement between the DOT and PNA-UK comprise a joint venture to actively promote Philippine Tourism to Filipinos and other nationals. The program intends to cultivate interest amongst the OFW community and their non-Filipino friends to visit the Philippines and explore the numerous wonders that awaits the adventurous tourist.

Under the tourism project, Filipino nurses, their dependents and non-Filipino friends are strongly encouraged to explore the Philippines through various tour packages that have been developed to suit individual needs. The DOT have teamed-up with numerous local and international tour operators to actively tailor-make destination and vacation preferences for those who take part in the program.

In response to this endeavor, PNA-UK has created the “Sabay Tayo, Tara Na!” project.

The PNA-UK “Sabay Tayo, Tara Na!” project is open to all. The idea of the project is to encourage more people to travel back home for holiday, rest and recreation. Under the scheme, if at least ten (10) people are willing to depart UK all at the same time, then a huge discount will be applied to their airfares. The scheme does not pay particular attention on the return dates from the Philippines. This means that as long as 10 people are willing to depart from the UK on a single date without concern for their return dates, then the scheme can be applied. The choice of carrier airlines will also be confirmed once a preliminary group of people has signified their intention to avail of the benefits. Other than a substantial discount on airfares, other benefits of joining the Sabay Tayo, Tara Na! project is a possible courtesy call from various government and PNA officials at the airport of destination, freebies, and duty-free benefits among others.

The first PNA-UK Sabay Tayo, Tara Na! departure date is scheduled for March 18, 2005. Interested individuals are advised to email secretariat@pna-uk.org or call/ text 0788790 3265/ 07787 523541 as soon as possible. We need your name, contact number/ details, number of persons traveling with you, and preferred return date. The more people we can get together to depart on this date, the better. Only those who have signified of joining this scheme can avail of the full benefits. So for your next holiday, Sabay Tayo, Tara Na!
